In celebration of Pixar Animation Studios’ “Inside Out 2” premiering in theaters today, Disneyland Resort just shared a roundup of all the new ways that guests can experience the film at the resort with new offerings like:
- A drawing activity at Animation Academy, where guests can learn to draw four characters from the film: Joy, Sadness, Anxiety and Anger under the guidance of a talented artist.
- A limited-time “Inside Out 2” collectible medallion from Bing Bong’s Sweet Stuff Medallion Machine
- “Inside Out 2” inspired merchandise items, food and beverage offerings plus novelties like the Anxiety Straw Clip at select locations for a limited time while supplies last
- A limited-time lens from Disney PhotoPass with “Inside Out 2” characters for guests who purchase Disney Genie+ service
- A display of three maquettes at Pixar Place Hotel featuring “Inside Out 2” characters —Anxiety, Ennui and Embarrassment, along with panels of artwork from the film on the second floor of the hotel for a limited time
Other “Inside Out 2” highlights include “Emotional Rollercoaster,” a limited-time water short presented ahead of “World of Color – ONE” and a character experience with Anger at the Pixar Pier Band Shell in Disney California Adventure Park.
For a limited time, a new water short, “Emotional Rollercoaster,” highlighting Pixar’s “Inside Out 2,” is being shown ahead of “World of Color – ONE” presented by PANDORA® Jewelry at Disney California Adventure Park. When the lights dim around Paradise Bay, guests see inside Riley’s head, showing memories of her experiencing Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear, and Disgust on mist screens. Animated projections, majestic fountains synchronized to music, dazzling lasers, and sparkling lighting are combined to introduce the new emotions, Anxiety, Envy, Embarrassment, and Ennui, and show how they must learn to live peacefully with the existing core emotions.
Anger and his fiery spirit will appear at the Pixar Pier Band Shell in Disney California Adventure Park, adding even more excitement to this year’s Pixar Fest and its amazing parade, nighttime spectacular, themed treats and drinks, and more.
These are just a few of the Pixar-themed offerings that guests can enjoy during Pixar Fest, through Aug. 4, 2024. Guests can experience Pixar Fest with the limited-time 2024 summer ticket offer, for visits through Sept. 26, 2024. With this offer, guests can also enjoy “Fantasmic!”, D23 Day at Disneyland Resort on Aug. 8 with special festivities, plus the start of fall favorite celebrations, Halloween Time and Plaza de la Familia, which kick off Aug. 23.
