Planning to purchase Gran Turismo 5 when it ships this November? you may want to start preparing hard drive space from now. During one of his many tweets Polyphony Digital boss Kaz Yamauchi announced that GT5 will require 256MBs of free space to run but if you would like a “smooth experience” you’ll have to install a whopping 10GBs of data to your system. Of course the 10GB install is optional and won’t really affect those with large hard drives but if like me you’re constantly having to micro-manage what little space you have available on your hard drive this news with come as a huge blow.
Let’s just hope the quality of the game will make up for all the aggro.
