Assassin’s Creed: Unity — Story Trailer RevealedMeet protagonist Arno Dorian
Ubisoft released a new trailer of Assassin’s Creed: Unity, which tells the game’s story. You can see more of the official plot summary below:
In Assassin’s Creed Unity, the French Revolution is in full swing and the city and its people are embroiled in chaos. As the people of Paris find themselves wrapped up in an epic, bloody struggle, Arno will have to navigate shifting alliances, betrayal, and conspiracies to steer the revolution and uncover the truth.
Before the trailer reveal, Ubisoft broke the news about the specs of the game. Ubisoft confirmed to Videogamer that Assassin’s Creed Unity will run at 900p/30fps on both the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
Senior Producer Vincent Pontbriand has explained the reason Ubisoft kept the specs the same on PS4 and Xbox One to “avoid all the debates and stuff.”
We were quickly bottlenecked by that and it was a bit frustrating, because we thought that this was going to be a tenfold improvement over everything AI-wise, and we realised it was going to be pretty hard. It’s not the number of polygons that affect the framerate. We could be running at 100fps if it was just graphics, but because of AI, we’re still limited to 30 frames per second.
