Ultimate Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 Confirmed [Updated With Full Roster!]

Capcom doesn’t seem to know the meaning of DLC. Instead of adding characters via DLC like Mortal Kombat is currently doing, they re-release their game with a bunch of new content ranging from levels, characters, combat tweaks, and online enhancements. Having already spent $60 on Marvel Vs. Capcom 3, my opinion is that I prefer DLC but I can’t argue against Capcom giving gamers a great deal.

Ultimate Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 will feature 12 news characters, 8 new levels, re-balanced gameplay, and enhanced online modes including a spectator mode. This is all content that should of already been came in form of DLC or a title update but it’s Capcom’s trademark. Ultimate Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 is due out in November and will retail at $40. That is a great deal for people who didn’t buy the original version, but for chumps like me, it looks like I’m going to spend $100 total on the game.

Capcom didn’t announced the game without revealing 4 of the 12 new characters in the game. From the Marvel side we have Ghost Rider, and Hawkeye joining the fight. From the Capcom side we have the fan favorite Stryder, and Firebrand. I’m particularly happy to see Ghost Rider in the game, and now I’m keeping my fingers crossed for Venom.

Update: The Full Roster has already leaked online (via some digging through Capcom’s website), Internet 1 – Capcom 0!
