Rhythm Game Starring Snoop Dogg Coming to XBLA, PSN
Snoop Dogg is no stranger to the video game industry. We've seen him several games including the Def Jam wrestling series and most recently in Tekken Tag Tournement 2. Well the Doggfather himself is teaming up with 505 Games and developer Echo Peak to bring you Way of the Dogg.
“Snoop Dogg is a true one-off and from our first creative discussions two years ago the idea of creating an original game concept around his music and love of ‘70s Kung Fu and Blaxploitation movies was a mouth-watering prospect,” says Ciaran Walsh, director at Echo Peak.
Way of the Dogg is described as a rhythm-based fighter in which you attacks to the beat of Snoop Dogg's music. Probably not the best description of how the game will exactly play but as a fan of rhythm based games and somewhat a fan of Snoop Dogg, I'm curious to learn more. 505 games did drop a behind-the-scenes video of Snoop recording his VO. Why they didn't drop a gameplay trailer? No idea.
Way of the Dogg is headed to XBLA, PSN, and mobile devices later this year.
