New Remember Me Gameplay Trailer Showcases Memories

Earlier this morning, Capcom released a brand new gameplay trailer to showcase how the memory features work in their upcoming new IP Remember Me.

The video above runs at about 6 and a half minutes long and gives an in-depth preview of how crucial memories are to both the main character and the world surrounding her. Creative Director Jean-Maxime Moris also provides compelling commentary on how memories are the central theme of the game. We previously had a glimpse of some of the enemies in the game and that trend also continues to a degree in this trailer as well.

Ever since hearing about Remember Me last year, I’ve been very eager to see how the game turns out. New games like The Last of Us and Beyond: Two Souls have proven that fans are still receptive to new IPs even though they are coming out late in the current generation of consoles. Capcom has had similar success with Dragon’s Dogma and hopefully if Remember Me turns out half as good as the above trailer then we will see even more installments in the series moving forward.

Remember Me releases on June 4th in North America and on June 7th in Europe for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC. Where you impressed by this new gameplay trailer? Feel free to let us know in the comments section below.
