With the summer slowly coming to an end and kids everywhere heading back to school, video games releases are finally starting to heat up again. August is the rare month where we will be treated to an absurd amount of new releases that are destined to keep every type of gamer busy for quite awhile. DiveKick is a 2D competitive parody fighting game that builds it’s personality off of mocking famous fighting games like Street Fighter. This game was highly praised at several shows like PAX East and PAX Prime throughout the years.

Suda 51 returns to the director’s seat with a brand new hack and slack video game. Killer is Dead follows the story of an executioner by the name of Mondo Zappa and is set within a futuristic timeline. If you’re a fan of any of Suda’s other games, then chances are that you’ll definitely want to give this one a try.
