Since it’s Friday the 13th, what better day than to announce that a classic slasher villain will be included in Mortal Kombat X? That’s right, everyone’s favorite slow walking masked serial killer, Jason Voorhees will be duking it out with Kano, Sonya, and the rest of the gang.
Jason, along with three other characters, will be included in the Kombat Pack which is this game’s season pass. Two of these characters will be “Klassic Mortal Kombat Kombatants” according to the press release, and the other will be a special guest.
The season pass, which costs $29.99, will include the samurai pack and that will have extra skins for characters like Samurai Shinnok, Ronin Kenshin, and Jingu Kitana. Having the season pass means you’ll have access to DLC before it goes on sale. It’ll cost $29.99.
Mortal Kombat X will be available on the PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on April 14. The PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 editions will be available this summer.
