Earlier today, Nintendo revealed that Mario Kart 8 will be releasing for the Wii U on May 30th. In honor of this announcement, Nintendo also revealed a brand new trailer of their upcoming racer that can be seen above.
The video embedded above introduces us to Bowser’s mischevious Koopa kids and how they are determined to change the landscape of each competition. This will mark the first time in the series that these characters have ever been in a Mario Kart game.
The Wii U had a pretty dismal year in 2013. Could this game be an early sign of more quality titles coming to the console? Only time will tell, but at the very least we all have something to look forward to now.
