In 2008 Ubisoft announced Beyond Good & Evil 2, the sequel to 2003’s Beyond Good & Evil. The game garnered the attention of critics and a few gamers but failed at becoming a commercial success. So before Ubisoft sends the sequel out to die they’ve given people like me, who haven’t played the first game, a chance to see what the fuzz is all about.
Ubisoft is following the current trend by re-releasing an HD remake of Beyond Good & Evil. Unlike other re-releases, this one is headed straight to Xbox Live Arcade and PSN sometime in 2011. The game is said to “return with full HD 1080p graphics, enhanced character models, upgraded textures, and remastered musical score.” And of course, achievement/trophy support.
Like I said, this is a great idea. Hopefully people decide to catch up on this game and then we can look forward to the sequels release. So will you be trying out Beyond Good & Evil HD?
