All ‘Fallout’ fans, including myself, are eagerly awaiting for this day to be over so that we can get our hands on ‘Fallout: New Vegas’ tomorrow. But before the release of the game, Bethesda Softworks has revealed plans for their first DLC pack which will be released post Fallout: New Vegas’ release. The next vital piece of news is that this DLC pack will be an Xbox 360 exclusive, and the way they worded it in the press release makes it seem like it wont be coming to the PS3.
“We’re excited to continue the partnership between Bethesda and Microsoft, and build on the success of the game add-ons released for Fallout 3 on Xbox LIVE,” said Pete Hines, VP of Marketing and PR of Bethesda Softworks. “Fans will once again be able to continue their experience in the Fallout universe with the add-on packs planned for after the launch of the game.”
Luckily, I already have the Xbox 360 version paid for, but this news may shift some fans over. It’s also worth noting that ‘Fallout 3’ DLC was released on Xbox 360 first, so I don’t doubt that this may happen again.
