Test Drive Unlimited which was scheduled for release at the end of next month has now been pushed back to 2011. The reasons for the push back are apparently due to the multi-player portions of the game needing more polish. Many Test Drive Unlimited enthusiasts were expecting a beta to drop sometime within the next couple of weeks (before the games supposed release), however due to this delay, the beta is also delayed. Atari has promised to give a free in game item to compensate all those who have signed up for the beta so far, which is very kind of them. At least now they won’t have to worry about Gran Turismo possibly stealing their glory this fall.
