The much talked about free version of the Battlefield series was finally unleashed onto the Internet today by EA and DICE. As you already know it’s called Battlefield Play4Free and the game aims to deliver a endlessly entertaining experience by bringing you some of the most popular maps from Battlefield 2 and combining them with the classes and weapons found in Battlefield: Bad Company 2.
EA and DICE also aim to raise the bar in the free-to-play space even further by adding one of the Battlefield franchises main draws, That’s right vehicles. Battlefield Play4Free comes complete with 16 different vehicles, including the Mil Mi-28 attack helicopter, the F35 VTOL jet fighter, the Russian T-90 main battle tank, and the the agile and quick LSV light strike vehicle.
