Jesse Pinkman from our favourite TV show Breaking Bad is to play the lead role in DreamWorks film based on the video game franchise Need for Speed. The film is to be directed by Scott Waugh, who made Act of Valor and it has a release date of 7th February 2014.
Aaron Paul does a great job capturing the meth dealing partner to Walter White in AMC’s Breaking Bad, but is he the right person to lead in a Need For Speed film? I do like how Aaron is able to capture Jesse’s growth from season 1 through season 5, so maybe if he does a good job in this film we’ll have a series of Need for Speed films on our hands.
Right now Fast & Furious is the flagship racing series, will Need for Speed change that?
