Earlier today, Ubisoft released details on their upcoming limited edition version of Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag along with a brand new naval tour trailer. The video can be seen above, while all of the limited edition info can be seen below.
The Limited Edition will retail for $129.99 and come with the following:
- A copy of Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag
- An 18″ statue of Captain Edward Kenway
- A 28″ x 48″ pirate flag with the Assassin’s Creed logo
- An 80-page art book
- The Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag soundtrack
- A SteelBook game case.
As of now, this Limited Edition has only been announced for both the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 platforms. There is a chance that this package can still come to both the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 consoles should fans demand it. The bigger question now though is will people still go out and purchase this knowing that the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 will also be on the market? Ultimately, only time will tell if indeed this limited edition will sell well or not.
Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag releases on October 29th in North America and on November 1st in Europe for the PC, PlayStation 3, Wii U, and Xbox 360.
