Earlier this morning, DICE and EA released a brand new video showing off an array of Frostbite 3 engine features running in Battlefield 4.
In the trailer above, the developers describe the Frostbite 3 engine as a tool that is the direct result of years of hard work, dedication, and planning. The impressive visuals, and destructive environments are just a brief glimpse into what all the Frostbite 3 engine is capable of. We were fortunate enough to try out Battlefield 4 multiplayer during E3 2013, and needless to say we all walked away impressed. Our very own editor, Gary Swaby, was especially inspired and wrote about his experience in a great preview piece.
Ever since I first saw the official Battlefield 4 reveal way back in March, I have been saying all along that Battlefield 4 will outsell Call of Duty: Ghosts later this year. The new Frostbite 3 engine easily puts Battlefield 4 on a whole new level in my book and I have to believe that most gamers would feel the exact same way. Of course, many people are drawn to Call of Duty multiplayer and no doubt probably had the game preordered well before it was announced to the masses.
