Old and new hip-hop heads can rejoice with this new Hit-Boy production. The star-studded track, appropiately titled “Cypher”, features verses from Rick Ross, Method Man, Redman, Kent M$ney, Audio Push, Schoolboy Q, Casey Veggies, Xzibit, B Mac the Queen, and Raekwon. Each emcee delivers a sick verse with their own unique style over the gritty, NY street beat. Mixing together old and new, underground and well-known, and east coast to west coast serves to really make this track a great intro to the much anticipated HS87 All I’ve Ever Dreamed of compilation dropping Tuesday.

Although some may look at the line-up and not think that some emcees belong on the same track, the intricate mix of rappers really does make for a good listen. Maybe adding in some more passionate and crazy emcees like Busta Rhymes to rip this beat could have made it stand out more, but each emcee plays it cool and still does there thing.
