Earlier this morning, Twisted Pixel confirmed that LocoCycle will be an Xbox One Launch title this fall. The announcement trailer above delivers the news and excitement in all it’s glory.
The premise of LocoCycle revolves around a sentinel assassin motorcycle named I.R.I.S. and the adventures she has will traveling all over the world with her south american engineer Pablo. The Xbox One version of LocoCycle is expected to run at 60 frames per seconds and in 1080p format. Fans who want to pickup the game on Xbox 360 will still be able to do so once the title officially hits Xbox Live Arcade later this year. In addition to the video above, Twisted Pixel also released 8 new screenshots from the game to get fans extra excited. You can check out these images below.
While this game is no doubt a great launch title for the Xbox One, I’m personally hoping that this isn’t one of the 15 exclusives that Microsoft plans to showcase during next week’s Pre E3 Conference. Microsoft has spent the past few weeks promising to deliver their absolute best lineup of games during this presentation, and I’m personally holding them to that promise. Given that LocoCycle still doesn’t have a confirmed release date, I’m starting to wonder if this title is still on track for a Summer of Arcade launch. Considering how big the title is, I would be highly surprised if it isn’t.
Do any of you plan on picking up LocoCycle later this year? If so, will you be buying the Xbox 360 or Xbox One version? Please feel free to let us know in the comments section below.
