Grand Hustle rapper and family man T.I. returns to the webs today with the official release of his latest single “Memories Back Then”. The ATL rapper links up with fellow southern rapper B.O.B. and west coast “golden boy” Kendrick Lamar for a dope new tune. Spitting over a slowed down synth and light bass beat, the three rappers take a serious moment to reminisce about that one relationship that didn’t turn out the way they expected. The accompanying of Kris Stpehens over the chorus makes this emotional single a catchy tune. Ever since his 2nd time in jail, T.I. has definitely been trying to reclaim his top spots on the charts and this tune may be generic enough to get him some radio play.
Although this single was supposed to be featured on T.I.’s last effort, but due to sample issues, the reworked version will be featured on the upcoming Grand Hustle compilation.
