After a monstrous month full of releases, gamers everywhere will be treated to several notable titles all April long. While The Elder Scrolls Online takes center stage as the most important game out this month, several titles like Child of Light and LEGO: The Hobbit are also promising and worthy of both our time and attention. Below is a short list of 12 standout games to keep your eyes on as the weeks go by.

Fans can expect several of the same features that made MLB 13: The Show great, along with the added bonus of cross saves between games. If you absolutely can’t wait for the PS4 version, then picking up either the PS3 or Vita version is your best bet right now.

If you enjoyed any Trials games in the past, then you owe it to yourself to pickup both of these games later this month.

Daylight is a procedurally generated first-person perspective survival horror title that puts players in the uncomfortable environment of an abandoned hospital. The game was written by popular IGN host Jessica Chobot and is one title that everyone will be watching out for. If you enjoyed Outlast, then you may want to check this game out too.

JoJo’s Bizzare Adventure: All Star Battle is a fighting game that is largely based on a magna series of the same name. If you’re anxious to play a different kind of fighting game this month, then this may be exactly what you’re looking for.

Traditionally, movie adapted video games turn out to be horrible 9 times out of 10. The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is expected to change that dynamic and give us a game that truly makes us feel like the wisecracking web slinger himself. If you enjoyed the last Spider-man game that Beenox worked on, then you’ll absolutely love this one too.

Child of Light is a beautifully crafted platforming RPG that centers around an estranged girl who goes on a quest to bring back the sun, moon, and stars from the evil Queen of the Night. This RPG was created by Ubisoft’s new UbiArt Framework game engine and is easily one of the best looking games out this month. If you’re a fan of sidescrollers with RPG elements, then you should absolutely pick this up on day one.
