Here are Nintendo’s Download Highlights for this week on the 3DS and Wii U! Some are available now for download while others will be available in the very near future! Check out the Nintendo Download Highlights below to see what’s in store for you at Nintendo’s eShop:
Nintendo eShop on Nintendo 3DS:
- Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS – Battle it out as the greatest heroes and villains in video games on the Nintendo 3DS system – at home or anywhere! Smash rivals off the stage with epic moves, then beef up your fighters with a variety of customizations and equipment. Find fun extras faster by beating hordes of classic enemies in Smash Run and mastering mini-games. Get ready to settle it in Smash! Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS will be available on Oct. 3. Fans planning on purchasing Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS at launch can save time by downloading the free game update (ver. 1.0.2) in advance. It’s available starting at 9 a.m. on Oct. 2 in the Nintendo eShop and is required for online mode.

- Castlevania Dracula X – Richter Belmont must take up his family’s legacy and face Count Dracula if he is to save his beloved. Defeat legions of monsters in this multi-ending, multi-story entry in the classic Castlevania series. Click hereto watch a trailer for the game.

- Poker Dice Solitaire Future is 30 percent off (reduced from $0.99 to $0.69) until Oct. 30.
- Nintendo eShop on Nintendo 3DS
- Jett Rocket II: The Wrath of Taikai is more than 30 percent off (reduced from $8.99 to $5.99) until 8:59 a.m. PT on Oct. 23.
- Tappingo is more than 30 percent off (reduced from $2.99 to $1.99) until 8:59 a.m. PT on Oct. 16.

In addition to video games available at retail stores, Nintendo also offers a variety of content that people can download directly to their systems. Nintendo adds new games weekly to the Nintendo eShop on the Wii U console and the Nintendo 3DS family of systems, the Nintendo DSi Shop for the Nintendo DSi system and the Wii Shop Channel for the Wii console. The Nintendo eShop is a cash-based service that features a wide variety of content, including new and classic games, applications and demos. Users can add money to their account balances by using a credit card or purchasing a Nintendo eShop Card at a retail store and entering the code from the card. All funds from one card must be loaded in the Nintendo eShop on either Wii U or the Nintendo 3DS family of systems, but can be used in either Nintendo eShop if the systems are linked to a single Nintendo Network account.
The Wii Shop Channel offers games and applications and uses Wii Points, which can be purchased via the Wii Shop Channel. The Nintendo DSi Shop offers games and applications and uses Nintendo DSi Points, which can be purchased in the Nintendo DSi Shop.
