Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection will soon be here and with Sony’s Tokyo Game Show event happening later tonight, we’re sure to see and learn more about the game. To get us prepared for what to expect, Sony has released this new video.
This is a scene from Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune. As you can see, the game is now running at 60fps and boasts 1080p graphics which serve to show how detailed the newly detailed environments are.
Here is more about the game from the video’s description:
Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection is the culmination of years of hard work at our studio that has been lovingly rebuilt by the team at Bluepoint Games. It’s incredible to watch Drake run, leap, and shoot on the PS4 with enhanced graphics and gameplay. Capturing those white-knuckle, trademark Uncharted moments has never been more fun than via the new Photo Mode tools built into the collection. Various improvements in lighting, rendering, texture mapping, and dynamic audio mean all three games are looking and sounding better than ever.
While I personally think the game looks odd running at 60fps (just like The Last of Us: Remastered did), I know that many will love the higher frame count. Like The Last of Us, I hope we can turn the game back to 30fps.
Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection will be released exclusively for the PlayStation 4 on October 7th.
