In case you missed it, The 2015 DICE Awards were tonight, and if you were not watching, then you might have missed the best night in Monolith Productions history. Their game, the incredible Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor, took home an unbelievable 8 awards tonight, including Adventure Game of the Year among various other Outstanding Achievement awards.
Unfortunately for them, they did not come away with the nights biggest award, Game of the Year, which went to Bioware’s equally excellent Dragon Age: Inquisition, in a (somehow surprising) upset. The extremely beautiful, Escher-esque iOS game Monument Valley took home an award for it’s Art Direction, and Apple’s App store took home an award for Technical Impact, thanks to their highly profitable games on the marketplace.
