We’ve seen Hitman Agent 47 and we thought it was great! We’ll have a full review of the movie posted this weekend, but for now, we wanted to give you all a quick review of the film.

Directed by Aleksander Bach and starring Rupert Friend as Agent 47, Hannah Ware as Katia van Dees, and Zachary Quinto as John Smith, Hitman: Agent 47 delivers that one rare thing: a video game based movie that’s actually good. What works about this film is that it remains true to the source material while also being a movie that any fan of the action genre can enjoy. The titular Agent 47 employs all of his signature moves from the games without it feeling corny or tacked on. Katia van Dees is a fantastic addition to the franchise, and she does an excellent job of being the equal of Agent 47. Her character adds a new and intriguing layer to the established mythology of the series. If you’re looking for a cool, action packed movie to see this weekend, you can’t go wrong with Hitman: Agent 47.

Hitman: Agent 47 will be in theaters nationwide this Friday.
