Xbox One Goes Fully Backwards Compatible This Summer

Update: Not every game will be compatible right away. First it will be 100 games, then Microsoft will work to make more games compatible as time goes on.

Microsoft’s Phil Spencer just announced that Xbox One is now fully backwards compatible. Meaning you’ll be able to play all your Xbox 360 games on the Xbox One. All you need to do is insert your disc or download the game to your Xbox One.

The feature will launch this summer on Xbox One. You won’t require Xbox Live to play either. This is certainly major news. The video above explains how it works.

Stay tuned for updates.
