Earlier today, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment announced that Batman: Return to Arkham will launch worldwide on October 18th for PS4 and Xbox One. This bundle retails for $49.99 and includes remastered versions of Batman: Arkham Asylum, Batman: Arkham City and all of the previously released downloadable content for both games. The side-by-side comparison video embedded above gives fans an idea of what they can expect from these remasters.
Return to Arkham was originally scheduled to launch in July but was delayed indefinitely for further refinements and polishing. Both Batman: Arkham Origins and Batman: Arkham Knight aren’t included in this collection. It will be interesting to see if Warner Bros. rereleases this collection again at a later time to include both of those games. Considering how disappointing this gen has been so far, I certainly wouldn’t be surprised if they did just that.
