The entry level Nintendo Switch SKU will be priced at £199.99 according to two sources who spoke with Lets Play Video Games. The sources stated that gaming retailer GAME has been informed of the price of Nintendo’s upcoming console.
It is important to note this is not a Nintendo set RRP, as in the UK manufacturers are not allowed to set RRP prices for consoles. However, it is safe to assume this gives us a solid indication of the price the system will sell at nationwide.
Nintendo plans to release a second Nintendo Switch SKU, according to the sources. It will offer more internal storage and a bundled game for £249.99.
Additional Switch Pro Controllers will be priced at £39.99 at GAME.
Nintendo plans to sell the Switch close to direct conversion prices worldwide. That would put the price in the US around $249.99 and $299.99.
