POWER’s Creator Courtney Kemp Agboh Details Season 5, “The Enemy of My Enemy is My Old Friend” Teaser Trailer Released

It has barely been a week since STARZ dropped their season 4 finale of Power. However, that’s not going to stop them from getting us excited about season 5. Set to premiere in 2018, STARZ released a teaser trailer for the upcoming season where we can expect even more craziness from the hit TV show.

Power, which stars Omari Hardwick as Ghost and Naturi Naughton as his wife Tasha, had a head-scratching, jaw-dropping season as fans watched things go downright awful for the St. Patrick family.

The season finale, which provided an interesting team-up of the Super Friends (Ghost, Kanan, and Tommy) after the death of a beloved family member was avenged, set up the premise for season 5, and the possible downfall or rise of a surprising rival.

In regards to what we can aspect from the upcoming season, creator Courtney Kemp Agboh admitted that the main characters are no longer safe; this includes Jamie “Ghost” St. Patrick.

Don’t get too attached to the characters. The plan is to make some huge moves and some huge cast changes in Season 5, for sure. So the show, at the very least, is going to transform into something slightly different as we go forward.

The first episode of the new season has already been written and will directly pick up where season 4 left off.

Opening with Angela (played by Lela Loren) finding the stray bullet. Then from that perspective, it’s all about Tasha trying to kind of keep Tariq out of trouble. Angela doesn’t always do a good job of watching her own back which applies to people she works with who will take advantage of that weakness and opportunity.

Check out the teaser trailer above and look for the return of Powercast when Power returns in 2018.
