Yesterday, Marvel Studios released a new trailer and the official poster art for their upcoming Captain Marvel feature film. The trailer is conveniently embedded above while the theatrical movie poster is included below.
Captain Marvel takes place during the 1990s and follows Carol Danvers journey towards becoming one of the universe’s most powerful heroes. Actress Brie Lawson takes on the lead role and joined by an impressive cast including Samuel L. Jackson, Jude Law, Djimon Hounsou, Ben Mendelsohn, Annette Bening, and others.
The trailer included above builds upon the first trailer that was released back in September. Not only do we gain deeper insight into the narrative but there are also several jam-packed action sequences highlighted from start to finish. Producer Kevin Feige has gone on record saying that Captain Marvel is the most powerful character in the Marvel universe and will play an important role in the next Avengers movie.
