Earlier today, SIEA PlayStation Marketing Vice President Mary Yee revealed in a PlayStation blog post that a Red Dead Redemption 2 PS4 Pro Bundle is currently scheduled to hit stores on October 26th.
This package includes a 1TB Jet Black PS4 Pro system, a DualShock 4 wireless controller, and a physical copy of the game for $399.99.
The announcement of this PS4 Pro bundle isn’t surprising given how big of a release this game will be. Prior to this news, Sony released limited edition PS4 Pro bundles for both Spider-Man PS4 and God of War. Both of those consoles look fantastic and may be hard to find new in certain stores.
One aspect that is disappointing is that there’s no special design associated with this bundle. Sony has a partnership deal with Rockstar Games and PS4 players will get first access to new online content.
This makes the lack of a unique design even more puzzling but Red Dead Redemption 2 is still a hot item and will sell well regardless of not having any special console related cosmetic changes.
