Yesterday, Warner Bros. Pictures released the first official teaser poster for their upcoming Birds of Prey DC Extended Universe film. Set to hit theaters on February 7th, 2020, Birds of Prey will feature the return of Margot Robbie as the crazed criminal Harley Quinn. The most recent teaser trailer was shown at theaters prior to the start of IT: Chapter Two. The poster is conveniently embedded below with a brief synopsis of the film.
Birds of Prey takes place after the events of Suicide Squad and revolves around Harley Quinn joining forces with Black Canary, Huntress and Renee Montoya to protect a young girl who was threatened by Black Mask.
Jurnee Smollett-Bell takes on the role of Black Canary while Mary Elizabeth Winstead and Rosie Perez are Huntress and Renee Montoya respectively. Finally, Ewan McGregor is set to star as Black Mask. Birds of Prey is the eighth film in the DCEU and will debut at theaters a few months after Todd Phillips standalone Joker film.
