Flashback Friday – Remembering Adam West in Batman: Return of the Caped Crusaders

In 2016, The Koalition spoke to Adam West about reprising his Bruce Wayne/Batman role for Batman: Return of the Caped Crusaders, his legacy as Batman, become Mayor Adam West in Family Guy and more.

Batman: Return of the Caped Crusaders was a 2016 direct-to-video animated superhero film produced by Warner Bros. Animation and distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures. Based on the 1960s Batman TV series, the film stars Adam West, Burt Ward and Julie Newmar reprising their roles of Batman, Robin and Catwoman from the series.

In Return of the Caped Crusaders, Batman and Robin spring into action when Gotham City is threatened by Penguin, The Joker, Riddler and Catwoman. This time, the four super villains have combined their wicked talents to hatch a plot so nefarious that the Dynamic Duo really have their hands full.

Adam West passed away in Los Angeles, California, on June 9, 2017, following a brief battle with leukemia.
