During PlayStation’s State of Play event earlier today, Konami released a new trailer for SILENT HILL f and confirmed a September 25th release date for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Steam, Epic Games Store, and Microsoft Windows. The bone-chilling video is embedded above, while more details about the upcoming game are included below.
Set in 1960s Japan, horror and psychological tension intertwine in an unforgettable narrative to find beauty in terror. The game follows Shimizu Hinako, a teenage girl struggling under society’s pressure of expectations, as she navigates her hometown of Ebisugaoka, now shrouded in fog and undergoing a disturbing transformation. Players will have to unravel mysteries, battle otherworldly threats, and come face-to-face with choices that will determine Hinako’s fate.
With music composed by legendary SILENT HILL veteran Akira Yamaoka and celebrated game composer Kensuke Inage, SILENT HILL f delivers a unique soundscape that contrasts its dual worlds of fog and madness. Under the leadership of producer Motoi Okamoto (SILENT HILL 2 Remake), the game marks a fresh and emotionally gripping chapter for the series, one that challenges perceptions of beauty, fear, and the human psyche.
