South Park: The Fractured But Whole was just announced as the opener for Ubisoft’s press conference.
[UPDATE] According to a press release with Ubisoft:
“Developed by Ubisoft San Francisco, South Park: The Fractured but Whole will enable players to delve into the crime-ridden underbelly of South Park with Coon and Friends. This dedicated group of crime fighters was formed by Eric Cartman, whose superhero alter ego, The Coon, is half man, half raccoon. As The New Kid, players will join Mysterion, Toolshed, Human Kite, Mosquito, Mint Berry Crunch and a host of others to battle the forces of evil while Coon strives to make his team the most beloved superheroes in history.”
Similar to The Stick of Truth, The Fractured But Whole will still maintain the classic turn-based combat system. Rather than focusing on medieval fantasy this time around, the game will be superhero themed.
Comedic masterminds Matt Stone and Trey Parker are assisting in the writing of South Park: The Fractured But Whole as well.
Release date and price has yet to be announced.
