Square Enix has announced the HD remaster of the underrated PS2 classic, Final Fantasy XII, complete with a trailer.
Dubbed Final Fantasy XII The Zodiac Age, this new version will be based on the International Zodiac Job System Japanese Ps2 re-release.
The game is to have several improvements like a fast forward button, class based License boards instead of a single generic one, manaless Quickenings; and controllable Espers and guest characters.
Final Fantasy XII The Zodiac Age is expected to be released in 2017. With Final Fantasy XV coming in 2016 and Final Fantasy VII Remake in the future it’s a great time to be a Final Fantasy fan.
Final Fantasy X is often the most praised Final Fantasy game on the PS2, but Final Fantasy XII was known as the more mature game. Are you excited to play it again? Let us know in the comments below.
