Welcome to another episode of Throwdown. On this podcast/vidcast we discuss the latest video game news and topics in an uncompromising and honest manner. No developer, publisher, or fanboy is safe from us!
After losing to the Xbox One for four months in a row, the PlayStation 4 has taken the top spot in November’s NPDs. Some didn’t believe the PS4 and the PS4 Pro could manage a victory over the Xbox One and Xbox One S but it looks like customers were more interested in Sony’s console during Black Friday. We go in-depth about why the PS4 won, why Xbox One lost, and what we can expect from the console war in the following year.
Other topics we discuss:
– Project Scorpio may not longer be a premium console
– Final Fantasy XV getting huge updates next year
– Nintendo overcharges customers for Super Mario Run
– Our The Last Guardian impressions
