Today, Ubisoft announced via their Twitter account that they are having a digital showcase event in a few short months from now. As displayed by the embedded tweet and video below, Ubisoft Forward will take place on July 12th at 12:00 pm PDT / 9:00 pm CEST and include exclusive game news, reveals, and more.

While we can certainly expect to see more from Assassin’s Creed Valhalla at this showcase, other titles such as Watch Dogs: Legion, Gods & Monsters, Beyond Good and Evil 2, Skull & Bones and Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Quarantine should also appear in some form or fashion. As for new game reveals, will this be the year that we finally hear about new Splinter Cell and/or Prince of Persia titles? We will have to wait and see as rumors have been suggested in the past that Sam Fisher is coming back in a new game but that still hasn’t become a reality yet.
Lastly, the date of July 12th is worth looking at a little closer. Microsoft stated on last week’s Inside Xbox that they are having an event in July to showcase all of their first-party titles for Xbox Series X. Can we expect that showcase to happen around the same week as Ubisoft Forward? Hopefully, we will know more details sooner rather than later.
