BMF Season 3 is heading towards an explosive season finale with its Detroit vs. Everybody mentality. Throughout the season viewers have watched Meech relocate from Detroit to Atlanta in search of expanding BMF during the height of the city’s international expansion. Meanwhile at home, things for Charles Flenory (Russell Hornsby) and Lucille Flenory (Michole Briana White) aren’t as Black and White after Charles indiscretions with the neighbor. With a divorce drawing closer (maybe), Charles continues to fight for his family.
As seen in this exclusive clip below from Episode 309, “Death Trap,” Charles is giving an opportunity to make his music dreams come true after being offered an opportunity to tour with The Campbell Boys for six weeks. Always supportive of Charles’ dream, Lucille encourages Charles to follow his dreams. However, it doesn’t look like Lucille will be following those dreams with him. After declining to go on tour with Charles, he starts to wonder if it’s because of her budding relationship with Maurice (aka Dr. Spreadnstrip).
In our interview with Michole Briana White, she expounded on Lucille’s emotional state in season 3 and being torn between staying with Charles and forging a path with Maurice. “I find myself in this situation and [Maurice] just shows up in my life. So, I can’t say she’s fully ready or not ready, she’s just discovering these things about herself and giving herself permission to find her way for the first time. [It’s] just scary but [she’s] owning that because she deserves that opportunity to give it to herself.”
In addition, having Charles in the house during their separation creates a new challenge for Lucille. “It’s a challenge sometimes because he still is my husband and a man I’ve always loved. We’ve had this amazing relationship up until now. So [there is this] push and pull.”
Episode 309, “Death Trap,” Meech returns from St. Louis to Atlanta to learn that the city and his love now belong to Glock. He is determined to build there and to take the city from his competitors, yet he learns to do this in a smart manner with all eyes watching the city and his next move.
