He-Man and the Masters of The Universe: Dragon Pearl of Destruction Release Date and Features Detailed

We finally got a confirmed digital release date for He-Man and the Masters of the Universe: Dragon Pearl of Destruction a few days ago. This Golden Axe-inspired retro 2D brawler drops on April 28th for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.

Dragon Pearl of Destruction is being developed by Bitmap Bureau, the studio behind Terminator 2D: No Fate, another amazing game I will definitely discuss here in the future. We also found out a few more details about this upcoming release.

He-Man and the Masters of The Universe: Dragon Pearl of Destruction

First and foremost, Dragon Pearl of Destruction is expected to feature an epic roster, including He-Man with Battle Cat, Man-At-Arms, Teela, and She-Ra, who has to be unlocked. Every character will have a unique playstyle, offering players a varied experience.

Secondly, this game has two-player local co-op support and 12 action-packed stages. I’m not sure if there will be online play or cross-platform support, but I hope these features are considered so more people can play from anywhere.

Lastly, fans can expect to face off against several key villains, including Skelator, Evil-Lyn, Beast Man, Trap Jaw, Shokoti, and the Shadow Beasts.

Overall, the game looks awesome, and luckily, we won’t have to wait too much longer to play it. Feel free to check out my hands-on preview, and stay tuned for my review in April.

Also, definitely let me know your thoughts on the release date and what other details you want to know about the game, in case I’m able to get some answers.
