Earlier today, Sony Santa Monica announced via their dedicated X account that God of War Laufey has been moved to May 20th, 2026. Laufey is a PS5 exclusive that was originally scheduled to launch on February 17th. Their full statement is included below.
God of War Laufey is an upcoming action-adventure game focused on Faye’s story, set between God of War (2018) and God of War Ragnarok. February 2027 is already a stacked month for video game releases. This decision is smart because it gives the team more time to create an awesome game that will get the attention it deserves when it launches in May.
