Remember a couple weeks ago on the Co-Op Podcast when we discussed McDonalds using the Nintendo DS to train their new staff? Well an image has now been released revealing the special McDonalds Nintendo DS units that will be used to train new members. At the moment this will only go into effect in Japan, but will probably spread to McDonalds restaurants worldwide.
As you can see it is a black DS with the Mcdonalds M logo engraved on the lid, it looks pretty cheap but it’s not like this is for sale. Still it’s interesting that McDonalds got their own DS model made specifically for their purposes. It is unknown what the process of the training on the DS will entail, however we hope to hear from an employee at some point who will fill us in.
