With E3 just one week away, the internet is bound to become over-saturated with premature leaks and unsubstantiated rumors over the coming days. The first of which is the official name for Sony’s upcoming handheld.
According to what is apparently a scanned E3 proof sheet, the PSP successor will be called Playstation Vita. Before you call “photoshopped” its worth noting that the domain name PSVita.com appears to be linked to Sony Entertainment Europe but as Playstation Lifestyle points out, Sony also owned a domain for Playstation Arc back when Arc was the rumored name for the Playstation Move.
I’ve just used the word “Playstation” a lot and now my head hurts, so my advice is just wait for Sony’s E3 Press Conference and put this rumor to bed.
