Last week Lil’ B released his controversially titled debut album with no single or promotion and unsurprisingly it bombed! As reported by XXL, Lil’ B’s “I’m Gay” (which received a digital-only release) only managed to push 1,700 copies, making it a failure by anyone’s standards. The Based God’s disciples were quick to blame these low sales on the fact that B also gave the album away for free but let’s face it, in this internet era every album is also available for free.
Oh well, better luck next time, or better yet… stop trying. #swaggerless
