We’re back with the long delayed episode 71 of The Co-op Podcast. This episode was delayed so that we could include a lot of the big news stories that broke last week, as they just kept on rolling in. One of those news topics was the shocking departure of SCEA president Jack Tretton. His contract ran out and it was not renewed, this happens all the time in business, but will his departure be felt within Sony?
Another departure related to Sony was revealed last week, and it was Amy Hennig leaving Naughty Dog. It was reported that she was forced out by The Last of Us writers who took over control on Uncharted, but how true is this claim? Will it affect the direction of the next Uncharted game? We discuss it.
Continuing with the negative Sony news, we speak on a topic suggested by otherZinc – apparently Sony bent the truth about the resolution on Killzone: Shadow Fall. Is this a travesty on Sony’s behalf? Let us know what you think.
Also discussed this week is the new release date for Watch_dogs. Somebody on the podcast won a bet regarding the release date, find out who on the show. We share our thoughts on the Batman: Arkham Knight reveal, and we discuss studio’s we want to see develop for PS4.
All this and more on The Co-op 71. Be sure to leave your questions, comments and feedback below.
