After being leaked by a number of different sources, Bethesda has finally coughed up an official announce trailer for RAGE 2. Judging by the trailer, the style of this game seems more humorous and eccentric than the first game.
Bethesda has promised to release a gameplay trailer of the game sometime soon, which will likely provide more context on the focus of the game. The first game, developed my id Software, took itself seriously. Perhaps too seriously. A shift in tone could possibly help the sequel gain more mainstream awareness.
Many held the first game in high regard, and it certainly was a technical masterpiece for its time. However, some would argue that it lacked a level of depth that games like Borderlands and Fallout provide.
