Yesterday, Microsoft released the official world premiere commercial for their upcoming Xbox One X console. The trailer is conveniently embedded above for you all to check out.
With the eye-catching title of Feel True Power, the footage serves the purpose of showing several current games and movies running on the Xbox One X. Notable titles within this advertisement include Forza Motorsport 7, Cuphead, Madden NFL 18 and Assassin’s Creed Origins. The Xbox One X is 40% more powerful than other consoles and is expected to enhance both old and new titles in terms of resolution and performance.
While I intend to pick up an Xbox One X in the future, I’ll be the first to say that the lack of a launch lineup is very disappointing. There is no doubt that Microsoft will be releasing more exclusive games in 2018 and beyond but they still haven’t convinced me why this is a necessary day one purchase. It will be interesting to see how the console performs in terms of sales this holiday season as the Nintendo Switch is destined to be another hot item. The Xbox One X launches on November 7th.
