With his debut album coming soon, Pusha T is well into his promotion for “My Name Is My Name” by releasing his highly anticipated mixtape “Wrath of Caine“. Originally slated for a December 2012 release, “Wrath of Caine” finally has dropped, 2 months before the release of “My Name Is My Name“. The album title is inspired by the TV series, “The Wire“.
Pusha has been following the Hip-Hop promotion textbook by beefing with well known artists such as Lil’ Wayne; making a mixtape project; releasing a single and video and then subsequently pushing back said mixtape (it was even late after the DatPiff countdown treatment). With the “Wrath of Caine” now released, everything is set up for the G.O.O.D Music label release in March this year.
The features on this mixtape include MMG artist Wale, Jamaican dancehall artist Popcaan, French Montana, Rick Ross & more. Pusha also boasts production from Kanye West & The Neptunes.
