Dead Space 3: Awakened DLC Trailer Reveal

Yesterday, EA released the first official trailer for their upcoming Dead Space 3: Awakened DLC package.

Awakened is essentially meant to continue Issac Clarke and John Carter’s dangerous exploits following the events of Dead Space 3. Below is an official description of the material by EA:

Left for dead on Tau Volantis, Isaac Clarke and John Carver face a daunting journey. As madness takes hold, they find they can’t trust their eyes or each other. The trek leads to the ship Terra Nova, now home to a sadistic cult of Unitologists. The horror continues as the Dead Space saga enters its darkest chapter.

After having completed Dead Space 3 myself just a few short weeks ago, I found myself to be very disappointed by the game overall and I will have more to say on the matter later this week. While the trailer above looks engaging enough to get fans excited, I personally would love to ask EA why they couldn’t make this part of the original game as opposed to a DLC add-on.

Dead Space 3: Awakened will release on March 12th for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC. The suggested retail price will be $9.99 on PS3 and PC and 800 Microsoft Points over Xbox Live Arcade.
