This week on The Co-op podcast we spoke on the Nintendo Direct update, and the amount of enthusiasm it built up inside Nintendo owners. The big news was that a new Zelda game was announced for the 3DS and Earthbound will be making its way to the Wii U virtual console. Is Nintendo overselling us on old concepts to compensate for the lack of new third-party support? We discuss this in a very controversial segment of the show, which may possibly leave a few Nintendo fans mad.
[alert type=”red”]The views expressed about Nintendo were only of the members of the cast and do not reflect the views of every editor on the website. Feel free to challenge any of the opinions expressed on this podcast. We would also like to invite Nintendo fans on future podcasts to get a better understanding of what the console does have to offer.[/alert]
Also we discussed the recent controversy over the rumors that the Next Xbox would be an online only (DRM) platform. Are these rumors true? Or are the current rumors circulating about Windows 8 running on the Nextbox more accurate?
Batman: Arkham Origins was announced last week, and this time the game won’t be in the hands of Rocksteady. What should we expect from Batman: Arkham Origins? And what are Rocksteady working on now? We discuss all possibilities.
We also gave our impressions on Injustice: Gods Among Us, Bioshock: Infintie, BattleBlock Theater and more during our what we’ve been playing segment. I’m still trying to figure out whether I should buy Injustice: Gods Among Us, so be sure to let us know your own personal opinions on this game.
