We’re back with another episode of The Co-op podcast, and we’ve finally hit a milestone of 50 episodes. On this week’s episode, Michael A and Jakejames Lugo join us to discuss the leaked details for the Injustice: Gods Among Us character DLC. As knowledgeable DC enthusiasts they let us know why Batgirl and Scorpion specifically are terrible choices. You should also refer to our article we published a few weeks back talking about characters that should be added to Injustice: Gods Among Us.
Rockstar gave us new Grand Theft Auto V trailers this week, promising gameplay. The problem is that these trailers were more focused on showing us the three main characters (Michael, Franklin & Trevor) than showing us actual gameplay footage. Listen as we discuss why it was so important for us to see actual gameplay footage in this trailer. Richard Bailey also thinks Rockstar should at some point try giving us a female protagonist, do you agree?
Rockstar weren’t the only ones teasing us this week, as Activision dropped a teaser confirming that Call of Duty: Ghosts is real. Not only that but the teaser tells us to tune into Microsoft’s May 21st Xbox reveal to see the game in action for the first time. Will Call of Duty: Ghosts be revolutionary to the FPS genre? And what can Microsoft offer us in Call of Duty: Ghosts that Sony can’t besides timed exclusivity on DLC maps? Listen as we discuss the issue.
A lot of jobs were lost at EA recently, which is always a sad thing to hear. Michael A feels very strongly about the lack of jobs in the gaming industry these days, so be sure to hear him out as he tells us why these stories are very important to the industry.
All that and more on this wee’s Co-op podcast. Leave your feedback and comments below, we appreciate those who get involved in the discussion.
